Four Part Harmony for All Occasions
The TAKIN' IT EASY singers are members of the Chordlighters Barbershop Chorus that represent the Columbus-Greenwood, Indiana chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
This group of mostly retired men love to sing the barbershop songs of yesteryear, songs that most people recognize and have heard and sung though the years.
TAKIN' IT EASY has performed for many occasions and functions such as; anniversary and birthday parties, company meetings, retirement parties, high school alumni banquets, club socials, church socials, church functions, political gatherings, retirement and assisted
living centers and senior citizens centers.
In addition, a quartet from the group sings Valentine's Greetings every February for those who wish to express their love and affection to special loved ones.
The men take great pleasure in singing the old style four-part harmony that had its beginning in the early 1900's.
Seeing all the smiles and bringing back good memories of the days gone by makes singing the barbershop harmony so rewarding to the Group.
